Experimental forecasts on the 12 km NAM grid, made with WOOF-NAM, a GPU port of the NMMB model. Runs from 18Z on 5 November go out 84 hours and start from a 6-hour catch-up with NOAA's GSI analysing RAP observations at three points. The earlier run is a plain 48-hour start from GFS data. Not a NOAA or NCEP product and not an official forecast. No delivery schedule is promised, and old runs are deleted. Map viewer · About
The list of available cycles is runs.json. WOOF-NAM runs have woof in their domains.
One file per forecast hour, about 43 MB, on the rotated latitude-longitude grid:
https://pirate-nam-tor.s3.ca-east-tor.io.cloud.ovh.net/<YYYYMMDDHH>/woof/grib/woofnam.t<HH>z.f<FFF>.grib2
Contents: temperature, wind, height and relative humidity at 1000, 925, 850, 700, 500, 300 and 250 mb; 2 m temperature and dew point; 10 m wind; surface and mean sea level pressure; composite reflectivity; precipitable water; total and hourly precipitation.
WMS 1.3.0 map layers for the newest run, regridded to 0.1° lat-lon, with the same fields as the Zarr store. Use EPSG:3857, or give EPSG:4326 bounding boxes as lon,lat:

A Zarr v3 store with a smaller set of fields, on the same grid, with latitude and longitude as 2D coordinates:
import xarray as xr
ds = xr.open_zarr("https://pirate-nam-tor.s3.ca-east-tor.io.cloud.ovh.net/2026110500/woof/zarr", consolidated=True)
ds.t2m.sel(fhr=24)
Variables: t2m, d2m (°C), mslp (mb), wind10, wind250 (m/s), apcp (mm since start), refc (dBZ), pwat (mm), z500 (dam), t850 (°C, missing below ground). Reading over HTTP needs aiohttp and fsspec.
